Inkcubeko and WildReach visit Quest Africa, Kaba, Alexandria
23rd August 2011

Inkcubeko Nendalo was invited by Tim Kuiper, founder of WildReach, and his team of Rhodes University students, to spend a day "in the bush" with a group of Grahamstown school pupils at Quest Africa's Kaba Campus near Alexandria. The "walk-in-the-woods" lesson on useful/cultural/historically important plants was followed by a delicious potjiekos (meat and vegetables cooked slowly in a three legged pot - a South African delicacy!) and later presentations and performances by the pupils.

Frome left: Dr Ken Ngcoza (Rhodes University Department of Education), Mluleki Nkosi and Tony Dold discussing the merits of umnga (sweet thorn) with pupils from Mary Waters and Nombulelo High Schools.
